The Obi Wan Kenobi Derby
Disney+ premiered one of its great titles for 2022: The Obi Wan Kenobi series that developed one of the great confrontations of fiction, that of the protagonist himself against Darth Vader.
That’s why we looked at another of the great clashes that everyone knows: the Madrid derby played by Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid. Taking advantage of the proximity of the match between the two teams with the premiere of the series, we created an action that exploited this narrative. First two films, the first one in which Obi Wan managed the lights of the Metropolitan Stadium with the force. In the next, Darth Vader answered by turning them off with the dark side. It was a foretaste of the big event on the day of the match.
Darth Vader, accompanied by two Stormtroppers, burst into the Metropolitano stadium with a spectacular set of lights and the music of the series. Vader advanced to the center of the field and controlled the entire stadium with his force.
His appearance had a great repercussion in the press and even caused the interruption of the pre-match commentaries on the radios, which for a few seconds stopped talking about the Derby to talk about what had just happened on the pitch.
