The Bear Sandwich

The Bear has been one of the sensations of the season on Disney+. The series about a haute cuisine chef who inherits his brother’s fast food restaurant and has to take it over, started to appear among critics and networks as one of the titles of the year. To promote it further and take the opportunity to reach new audiences, we designed an innovative action that brought the series’ narrative to life.

 

We set out to make real the sandwich on which much of the plot of the series revolves and take it to the public to take advantage of the moment of consumption: watching a series while eating dinner.

 

We contacted Dani García, another Michelin-starred chef who also has street food restaurants, to reinterpret the sandwich made by Carmie, the protagonist of the series. Afterwards, this sandwich could be ordered on Dani García’s platform, La Gran Familia Mediterránea, and through Glovo. This completed the innovative edible branded content action that brought the series to the homes of hundreds of people.

 

The action was launched with a video in which Dani García prepared the sandwich and reproduced the dizzying rhythm that characterizes the series “The Bear”.
